BC Workplace Transportation Endorsement

This course provides First Aid techniques with a focus on packaging and transport, for individuals who require advanced first aid for the workplace through a Worksafe BC approved course from E.M.P. Canada.

Prerequisites:

• Be 16 years of age or older.
• Hold a valid OFA Level 1 certificate or equivalent, or higher program.
  We typically schedule a Level 1 course immediately preceding this course to facilitate this requirement.

• An 8 hour course with flexible scheduling options
• Successful Candidates are awarded a 3-year certification recognized in the Workplace

• Role and duty of the OFA Personnel
• Circle of Care concept, SETUP scene assessment and mechanism of injury
• Initial and secondary assessments, including the ABC's - Airway, Breathing, Circulation, along with history taking
• Patient positioning and packaging
• Plenty of hands-on practice and scenarios
