Standard First Aid
Worksafe BC Approved course from the Canadian Red Cross providing First Aid & CPR techniques, for individuals who require an overview for the workplace and wish to enhance those skills with additional hands-on time and practice. The course covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults (CPR) and other topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies and prevention of disease transmission. Previously known as Industrial First Aid. There is a Blended option of 8 hours online with 5.5 [CPR-A] or 7.5 [CPR-C] hours in class CPR
Prerequsites
Be 16 years of age or older.
Bring 1 piece of valid photo ID
Be physically and mentally able to perform first aid skills

Course Overview
- An 13 hour CPR-A or 14 hours CPR-C course with flexible scheduling options
- Includes Level C CPR
- Provides you with a 3-year certification recognized in the workplace as equivalent to OFA 1
