Standard Child Care First Aid or recert

Comprehensive First Aid & CPR training for individuals who need training for child care or early childhood education work, or who simply want more knowledge to respond to babiesī and childrenīs injuries and emergencies at home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic first aid such as cardiovascular emergencies, CPR Level B, choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission to more in-depth topics such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

Course Overview

  • 16-hour course with flexible scheduling options
  • Includes CPR Level B
  • Provides you with a 3-year valid certification recognized by the British Columbia Provincial Child Care Facilities Licensing Board.
  • Includes AED (Automated External Defibrillation) certification
This course does not meet OFA requirements for WorkSafe BC however it is recognized and/or required by some employers
